Sang-Ho Kang Named Global Business Director for Display Technologies in Dow Electronic Materials

Dow announced it has named Sang-Ho Kang as Global Business Director for Display Technologies in Dow Electronic Materials business. He manages the portfolio of key enabling materials solutions for advanced display products, such as OLED emitter materials, cadmium-free quantum dots and display materials for LCD, OLED and touch panels.

Sang-Ho joined Dow Electronic Materials in 1998 and has held various positions in sales and marketing managing the Samsung Electronics account for seven years. In 2005, he served in a marketing role for the Si-ARC and Memory segments as Global Marketing Manager and, in 2007, he moved to the U.S. to assume the role of Strategic Account Manager for Micron, IM Flash, Samsung Austin and other memory accounts in North America. He returned to Korea to take on a Sales Director role in Display Technologies in 2009, and was later named as Marketing Director for the Display Technologies business. In 2013, Sang-Ho relocated to Vietnam and was appointed Dow Vietnam Country Manager and Platform Development Director for Photovoltaic Films (PV), Performance Plastics. In 2016, he was named to his current role as Global Business Director responsible for the Display Technologies portfolio within Dow’s Electronic Materials Business.

Sang-Ho holds a bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering from Hanyang University and an MBA from KAIST
